Hiwi the kiwi

On the 25/8/2016 .Hiwi the kiwi came to Pt England school they were talking about keeping environment safe and healthy like no littering because our birds and fish will die.Like if a bird see plastic bag in the water and then eats it they will chock and dies.And if a fish eats a a milk bottle lid it will block the tube that eats from and it won't be able to eat again and it will die.and he was talking about how to keep safe while we are fishing like wearing a lfe jacket because these 3 strong men where speeding on a boat they never wore there life jackets.They where speeding soo fast that they never saw a huge rock in front of them that they crashed into the rock they all fell off they boat was still running that it left them behind they all knew how to swim they there land was to far that the drowned.other stuff he said  waws if we get a small fish put it back so they can get bigger so they can  breed and  if you catch a really big fish put it back because it mite be pregnant .and to be safe we don't catch a bird to

Saia and Gabe Talk

On the 16th of August on a Wednesday at 9:30 Gabe and Saia from Tamaki Collage came to talk to team 5 about silicon valley that was a place in America they visited different types of communities and companies. One of there most funniest moment was when they played the Bean Boozled challenge i would love to try one of those and do the bean boozled challenge with my friends and family it would be so funny. The first companies they went to was Microsoft and then they went to,Xero,instagram,facebook,twitter,Khan Acadami and stanford.

The BFG

yesterday on the 10th of August 2016 room 1 literary class and some other year 7/8 students went to go see the movie BFG the book BFG was written by Roland dhal .We went to Sylvia park to watch the movie. We could bring lollies chocolate and other junk to eat at the movies when the movie started. I was getting so excited that . I was jumping up and down up the movie was more better then the book the BFG giant looked scary when he had his coat on.  the movie had some different parts then the book like they put the giants in a island surrounded by water but in the book part. They put them into a hole,the queen adopted Sophie , Sophie   my favorite character was the BFG because he is nice, kind and caring .
